Our big project this week has been to improve the overall health of our babies in Bukaleba. This is a huge job! We have implemented some new policies to improve hygiene particularly. The babies have all been issued brand new toothbrushes, donated from Rick Via Ministries. Each child was given their own, labelled toothbrush and they were so excited! We are delighted that our little ones are so enthusiastic about this new change, and we are praying this step will improve the oral health of all our babies.
Another ongoing project is improving the food at the Babies' Home. We have been discussing the availability of fresh produce from the Bukaleba area, and are hoping to implement a new menu, full of fresh fruits and vegetables, very soon! Please check back for updates on this project, it's definitely a big undertaking, but we are excited to be able to give the very best to our babies!
